Blue by Alain Ducasse, the award-winning and Michelin-starred French restaurant at ICONLUXE, 1st Floor, ICONSIAM, celebrates its sixth anniversary this month with a visit by the legendary chef Alain Ducasse. To mark the occasion, Executive Chef Evens López has created a special Découverte Menu, honouring the spirit of creativity, precision, and harmony that have defined the Blue’s journey since its opening in 2019.

“Blue is a reflection of our philosophy — a cuisine that speaks of excellence and emotion, interpreted with sensitivity by Chef Evens López and his team. Over six years, Blue has grown with grace and authenticity, bringing French contemporary cuisine to life in a way that feels both universal and deeply personal. I am proud to see how the restaurant continues to inspire and delight guests from around the world.
“When I first visited ICONSIAM, I was captivated by its ambition, beauty, and the exceptional location overlooking the Chao Phraya River. The commemorative Découverte Menu presents a six-course journey that captures the modern essence of French cuisine through Chef López’s distinctive vision. The experience begins with Aubergine Royale with mustard seed and charred vegetal reduction, followed by Bluefin Tuna with watermelon radish, yuzu, and Kristal caviar. The menu continues with Rainbow Courgette and Comté cheese enhanced with walnut praline and blackcurrant sage, and Wild Turbot prepared à la meunière, algae and puffed potato crisps.
A highlight of the savoury courses, Barbarie Duckling lightly smoked, radicchio, currants, and lovage, balances depth and delicacy before leading to the final Delight Collection of desserts: Chocolate Soufflé, Lemon Kaffir Lime and Sake, and Tart Tatin ‘our way’ with vin jaune jus, a fitting finale to a menu that celebrates precision and emotion in equal measure.

In the evening, the celebration continues with a sophisticated canapé presentation featuring an array of refined bites that reflect the restaurant’s artistry and attention to detail. Guests will enjoy creations such as Smoked Trout with bell peppers and yuzu, Scallop with sudachi, finger lime and Kristal caviar, Wagyu beef tartare with shiso and mustard, and Parmesan with Alba white truffle, alongside dessert favourites including Pomelo and coconut and Chocolate with black lemon and peanut.
