A motorbike rider died in a road accident in Kathu early this morning (September 21).

Rescue workers were notified about the accident on Phra Phuket Kaew Road, heading from Kathu to Patong near the Bang Chak gas station at 2.10am.

Rescue workers arrived at the scene to find the body of a man who was later identified as 40 year old Ram Tanyot from Petchaboon. He was still wearing his helmet. A red Ducati ‘big bike’ was found nearby. His body was taken to Vachira Phuket Hospital.
