The team commenced their patrol at the entrance to Walking Street, accompanied by Phichanon Thawisuk, Bang Lamung Deputy District Chief, local Pattaya police officers, and several entertainment venue operators. The initiative aimed to bolster the safety and security of tourists in the area.

After the initial observation, the officers met with 100 security personnel from various venues along Walking Street. These security staff are responsible for monitoring and preventing violence among both domestic and international tourists.

“This operation represents a collaborative effort between the Tourist Police Bureau, the ONCB, Bang Lamung district, Pattaya Police, and local sectors to ensure the safety and security of tourists’ lives and properties as we approach the high tourist season.”

The operation saw cooperation from multiple local sectors, emphasising the importance of a safe environment for tourists. This initiative comes as part of broader efforts to prepare for the influx of visitors expected in the coming months.

Walking Street, a popular nightlife destination, frequently sees a high volume of tourists, making security measures a top priority for local police.
