Bang Lamung trains 150 volunteers in disaster skills 2024

The Bang Lamung district chief concluded a training program for civil defence volunteers yesterday, aiming to boost their disaster prevention and mitigation skills.

Weekit Manarojkit presided over the closing ceremony of the 2024 Civil Defense Volunteer (CDV) Training ProgramME at the Bang Lamung District Community Hall. The event gathered 150 volunteers who participated in the training session designed to equip them with essential skills and knowledge.

The training spanned three days, from yesterday to today, Friday, August 30, and focused on disaster prevention and mitigation. Participants were introduced to modern technologies that can be applied for the community’s benefit, said Weekit.

“The program aimed to enhance disaster prevention and mitigation skills for 150 volunteers in the Bang Lamung district.”
