Wife’s dream predicts husband’s end in wall collapse tragedy

A tragic accident occurred in Nakhon Phanom when a wall collapsed, killing a man wearing the exact clothes his wife dreamt about.
A man was crushed under a bathroom wall at his home yesterday February 18, despite scepticism about his wife’s premonition.
At the residence located at 94 Ban Phon Ngam, Mueang district, relatives, including 64 year old Tula Phokapanit and 40 year old Nipaporn Phokapanit, were arranging the funeral of Pirapol Phokapanit. The accident’s aftermath showed a demolished old bathroom wall in ruins.
Tula explained that around 9.20am, her son was demolishing an old bathroom wall measuring 2 metres by 2 metres and standing 2.5 metres high. This was to prepare for a delivery of laterite soil to raise the backyard level due to flooding issues.
The demolition began at 7am and lasted approximately two hours, aiming to allow his mother to use a newly constructed nearby bathroom.
While working in the kitchen nearby, Tula heard a loud thud as the 40 to 50-kilogramme brick wall collapsed onto her son’s neck. She witnessed him running from the scene and collapsing. Despite no visible bleeding, she applied balm to his clenched and bruised hand and called an ambulance to take him to Nakhon Phanom Hospital.

During the ambulance transfer at a large retail store, doctors attempted CPR, but Pirapol succumbed to internal injuries. A police examination confirmed severe trauma to the back of his neck.
Despite the tragedy, the family accepted the situation, as life is unpredictable. The community later assisted in clearing the bathroom debris.
Nipaporn, Pirapol’s wife, recounted his occupations as a DJ, carpenter, electrician, and more. Known locally as DJ Oh, he had worked in several hotels before renovating their home and bathroom.
Three days before the incident, she dreamt of his death, vividly crying as if it were real. She shared her dream with Pirapol, who knew of her sixth sense but dismissed it.
The uncanny detail was the shirt he wore in her dream and at the time of his death. The funeral and cremation are set for tomorrow, February 20 at Wat Pa Ban Phon Ngam, reported KhaoSod.
