A 12 year old girl from Chon Buri, missing for four days since July 4, has been found safe and sound, after tireless efforts from her mother following over 100 tip-offs stemming from her social media post.

Namfon disappeared from a condominium in Si Racha, Chon Buri, on July 4. Her mother, 43 year old Nanjinya immediately took to social media and various news outlets to ask for help in locating her daughter. The overwhelming response from the public proved instrumental in finding Namfon.

Today, July 8 at 8.30am, Nanjinya confirmed that her missing 12 year old girl had been found safe. The relief in her voice was palpable as she expressed gratitude to everyone who had provided information and support.

“After sharing the news on social media and through various media outlets, I received numerous calls with tips. Ultimately, these leads helped us find Namfon, and she is safe and sound.”

Namfon and her mother had recently moved from Ranong to Si Racha for Namfon’s education. Nanjinya had only been in Si Racha for about two months when her daughter went missing. Initially fearing the worst, she worried that Namfon might have been lured away or kidnapped. After finding her daughter, Nanjinya took the time to thank media outlets and the good samitarians who aided her in her search.

“I want to thank everyone and all the media outlets that helped spread the word. I couldn’t eat or sleep since Namfon went missing; I was completely exhausted from [worriedness]. But now, I am overjoyed that she has been found.”

On the day of her disappearance, Namfon was seen leaving the condo and getting on a motorcycle taxi around 10.50pm. After that, she changed out of her school uniform into casual clothes and was seen riding on the back of a motorcycle heading towards Bang Saen. She has not been seen or heard from since, until this morning, reported KhaoSod.
