Purr-fectly terrifying: Python eats pussy in cat’s cage
A heartbroken pet owner discovered a massive python inside the cat’s cage, having devoured his beloved pussy. The 3-metre-long snake was found in Chon Buri, prompting a warning to cat owners about the potential dangers even for caged pets.
At 5pm yesterday, August 27, rescue officials from Trai Kunnatham Foundation, Chon Buri, were alerted to an incident involving a python that had swallowed a cat inside a cage next to a house on Soi 1, Thetsaban Phatthana 1 road, Mueang district, Chon Buri. The team immediately rushed to the scene with snake-catching equipment.
Upon arrival, they found a large iron cage with a huge python coiled inside. Observing the snake, they noticed its significantly swollen belly. Using their equipment, the rescue team carefully removed the snake from the cage. The python measured approximately 3 metres in length and weighed 20 kilogrammes. It was then secured in a sack to be released back into the wild.
Teerasak Tharapornpibanchon, the 62 year old cat owner, recounted the incident. He mentioned that he kept his cat in a well-secured cage and occasionally let it out to play. The cage had only small openings with iron bars, leaving him puzzled as to how the snake managed to get inside, reported KhaoSod.
“I was about to feed my cat today. When I opened the cage, the cat was gone, and instead, I found a python coiled up inside. I believe the snake had already eaten my cat. I want to warn other cat owners to be very cautious. Even with a cage, it wasn’t safe. I’m deeply saddened that my beloved cat has been eaten by a snake.”
In related news, a large python measuring over 4 metres was discovered slithering into the roof of a bathroom at a staff residence of a prominent company. The snake had previously bitten an employee, requiring nearly 40 stitches. The python was found again on July 9 at 10am.
