The LPG station, located by the roadside, was where 20 year old Thanapol was working his first shift. He recounted that he was waiting for customers when a black pickup truck, with an unknown licence plate, drove in. A man, pretending to be a customer, got out.

The suspect wore a black long-sleeved shirt, jeans, a white hat, and a facemask, standing approximately 180 centimetres tall. The man approached the cash drawer and started searching through it, prompting Thanapol to ask what he wanted. He held a gun at his right hip. After taking the money, the man fled in his vehicle. Thanapol immediately contacted the police, but unfortunately, there were no surveillance cameras in the area to capture the event.
