The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) forecasts that thunderstorms are expected to affect five regions, including Bangkok today. Temperatures will rise in upper Thailand, while thunderstorms may occur in central and eastern areas due to prevailing southern and southeastern winds. The public is advised to maintain health precautions and avoid prolonged exposure to heat. Meanwhile, the east winds over the Gulf of Thailand, southern regions, and the Andaman Sea will result in minimal rain in the South.

The department’s 15-day forecast suggests preparing for the summer storms, with air quality levels in the central regions, including Bangkok and surrounding areas, ranging from moderate to high.
