Thai actress Panadda Wongphudee, also known as “Boom,” is taking a stand after discovering her former nanny had repeatedly stolen from her. In a dramatic turn of events, Boom filed an official complaint yesterday, February 24, declaring she won’t let the wrongdoer get away with it any longer.

The scandal first erupted when Boom took to social media to expose the nanny’s deceitful behaviour. Boom revealed that she had initially fired the nanny for stealing from her home but chose not to press charges, hoping to give her a second chance to change her ways. However, her kindness was met with betrayal.

According to Boom, the nanny, identified as 49 year old Wandee Saithong, continued her dishonest behaviour, even impersonating the Thai actress to carry out her schemes. When Boom discovered the continued theft, she decided enough was enough.

Yesterday, Boom went to Bueng Kum Police Station to file a formal complaint. The actress met with Police Lieutenant Colonel Kiatsak Khiawsalap, the investigation officer, and provided detailed evidence of the theft.

The incident occurred on January 25, when Boom stored 30,000 baht in cash in a drawer on a dressing table in her bedroom on the second floor of her house in the Nawamin area, Khlong Kum subdistrict, Bueng Kum district, Bangkok. Three days later, on January 28, she noticed the money was missing.

When confronted, Wandee admitted to the theft. Despite her confession, Boom showed leniency and allowed her to leave without pressing charges, hoping she would learn from her mistake. But instead of changing, Wandee allegedly continued to steal and impersonate Boom.

In a post on her social media page, Boom shared a photo of herself at the police station with the caption, “Come to file a complaint.” She explained that she didn’t want the nanny to continue her deceitful acts and victimise others.

“I gave her a chance to change but she didn’t. I can’t let her get away with it anymore.”

The complaint has now been officially filed, and legal proceedings are underway. The police are preparing to issue a summons and an arrest warrant for Wandee.

The scandal has sparked public outrage, with fans applauding Boom’s courage to stand up against dishonesty, reported KhaoSod.
