A 31 year old man was found dead in a room in the Khlong Sam Prawet district of Bangkok, with a wedding gown and farewell note beside him.

The incident unfolded yesterday, February 6, when volunteers from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation received a report of a dead man in an unnamed residence on Kamnan Yen Villa Soi. The man, from Chachoengsao province, was wearing a Muslim wedding outfit.

Upon learning of the incident, family members arrived at the scene, overwhelmed with sadness. The dead man was known to sell fried chicken at a market near the Lat Krabang industrial area.

While there were no previous indications of distress, he had recently posted a story featuring a wedding dress alongside a melancholic song. It was revealed that he had separated from his wife approximately two months prior.

Later, the man’s father arrived at the scene, embracing his son’s body and expressing his grief and confusion over the situation. The owner of the rental room informed reporters that the man had only returned to rent the room a month prior and was due to pay rent that day.

The owner expressed disbelief that the man would end his life in such a manner. Preliminary autopsy results suggest the man had been dead for over 10 hours. His family intends to proceed with religious funeral rites, reported KhaoSod.

In similar news, the family of missing British man James Sangwine paid tribute after he was tragically found dead in Thailand.

The 33 year old Essex native vanished while on holiday in Bangkok, with loved ones losing contact after a night out on January 20. His partner, 38 year old Katie Maybin, revealed he had travelled to Thailand on January 18 to visit a friend, but all communication suddenly stopped.

Sangwine was last seen heading to the Abandoned Mansion Bar & Restaurant in Bangkok. A local couple who met him that evening later messaged Maybin, confirming he had been out with friends.
