Thailand braces for extreme heat and thunderstorms

The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) has issued a weather alert for today predicting temperatures reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius across northern, northeastern, and central Thailand. Residents are advised to take precautions against the intense heat and avoid prolonged outdoor activities.
