A high-pressure system and a new moderate cold air mass from China have spread over the upper northeastern region and the South China Sea. This phenomenon is bringing moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, affecting the lower northern, northeastern, central regions, as well as Bangkok and its surrounding areas, and the eastern region.

Despite the daytime heat in Thailand, these areas may experience thunderstorms, strong winds, and possible lightning strikes.

Temperatures in the northeastern region are expected to decrease by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius. The northern region will remain cool to cold, with the northeastern and central regions experiencing cool mornings.

Residents are urged to take care of their health due to changing weather conditions and to avoid open spaces, large trees, unstable structures, and billboards. Farmers should also prepare for potential agricultural damage.

During thunderstorms, waves may exceed 2 metres. Mariners in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea should navigate cautiously and avoid stormy areas.
