A late-night crash in Nonthaburi province saw a pickup truck slamming into a house wall, injuring four women. The incident occurred yesterday at 11.45pm near Wat Sri Khet, Pak Kret district. The police swiftly responded to the emergency, transporting the injured to various hospitals.

At the scene, an Isuzu pickup with a damaged front was discovered obstructing the road. Among the injured, three were found inside the vehicle, while another was ejected from the truck.

Rescue volunteers provided first aid before the victims were urgently taken to Bang Bua Thong Hospital, Kasemrad Rattanathibet Inter Hospital, and Sai Noi Hospital. The impact left a large hole in the concrete wall of a residential property by the road, reported KhaoSod.

Surveillance footage revealed that the pickup truck had accelerated with a loud engine noise before the driver abruptly shifted gears, causing the vehicle to surge forward and strike the wall with force. Witnesses following behind reported hearing a loud crash and seeing smoke spread across the street, only realising the severity of the situation as they approached. It was learned that the injured women had just left a temple fair at Wat Sri Khet, located merely 1 kilometre from the crash site.
