The incident occurred yesterday, February 19, at approximately 11.25pm, prompting an urgent investigation to track down the perpetrators.
Residents alerted the police upon hearing gunshots in the middle of the night. The unidentified group ambushed officers from Yarang Police Station who were on a routine patrol. The tragic event took place in a narrow alley behind a vehicle inspection station in Yarang, Pattani province.
