A 40 year old man was found dead near Yanui Beach in Phuket yesterday afternoon, as police suspect suicide linked to depression and financial struggles.

By the afternoon, the search ended in tragedy when Wirach’s body was found at the northern end of Yanui Beach, near the windmill viewpoint. His body was neatly dressed, with no signs of physical assault.

It appeared that Wirach had tied a rope to a tree branch on a rock, leading police to suspect the incident was a suicide.

Through questioning his relatives and girlfriend, officers learned that Wirach had been battling depression and facing financial difficulties, which may have contributed to his tragic decision.

His family described him as a man struggling with overwhelming pressures, though he had not previously shown signs of intending to harm himself, reported The Phuket News.

Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death, but initial findings suggest that the emotional and financial strain led to his tragic outcome.

In similar news, a 15 year old boy from Nakhon Pathom tragically took his own life on June 8, allegedly due to the emotional strain of a failed romantic relationship.

On Monday afternoon, June 9, a 16 year old friend contacted the Mueang Nakhon Pathom Police for help after finding his friend, referred to as A, in the bathroom with a 9mm gun.

When officers arrived, A was struggling to breathe after suffering a gunshot wound to the chest. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he later died from his injuries.
