A late-night food order in Pattaya ended in chaos when a group of teenagers ordered a large amount of food but refused to accept it upon delivery. The incident left the delivery rider frustrated and out of pocket.

Red Skull, a notable account on social media platform X, received a complaint from a food delivery rider who shared his unfortunate experience. According to the rider, the customers ordered over 10 dessert items, costing around 820 baht, at 3.41am.

The rider confirmed the order with the customers but they responded with impatience and rudeness, demanding speedy delivery and threatening to reject the order if it arrived late or incomplete.

The rider, hoping to complete the delivery smoothly, assured the customers that he would deliver the food as quickly as possible, depending on how fast the restaurant prepared the order. By 4.21am, the customers began to express their impatience, asking if the order was ready. The rider tried to reassure them that the food would be ready soon, but the customers responded with profanity and declared that they no longer wanted the order, calling the service terrible.

The delivery rider explained that the delay was due to the restaurant’s slow preparation but the customers cut off communication, leaving the rider with no option but to return the undelivered food.

The customers were believed to be teenagers staying at a pool villa in Pattaya, who ordered food late at night. Despite causing inconvenience and financial loss to the rider, they showed no remorse for their actions, reported KhaoSod.

In related news, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) X PCL has made a significant decision to delay the termination of its Robinhood food delivery service, initially planned for the end of July. The company submitted a formal request to the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) on July 29 to extend the service’s operation.
