Drunk Chinese tourist crashes, pukes, passes out in Pattaya

A drunk Chinese tourist turned a quiet Pattaya street into a late-night demolition derby after ploughing his pickup into parked vehicles, before vomiting out the window and passing out behind the wheel.
Pattaya police were called to the boozy crash scene in the early hours of this morning, after the Chinese man smashed his black pickup truck into multiple parked vehicles, then proceeded to throw up, pass out, and attempt a second crash before officers arrived.
The chaos unfolded at 4.30am, today, April 17, when the Pattaya Police Radio Centre received frantic reports of a pickup truck colliding with two parked motorbikes and a car on Pattaya Third Road, Soi Chalermprakiat 21, in the Nongprue subdistrict of Bang Lamung, Chon Buri.
At the scene, officers found a black four-door pickup with its engine still running, and a foreign man snoozing inside. He was later identified as 32 year old Wang Yunbin, a Chinese national, who appeared heavily intoxicated and utterly disoriented.
In front of the vehicle, two motorbikes lay sprawled on the road, while a nearby blue car showed damage to the rear, reportedly after being run over by one of the toppled bikes. The owners of the damaged vehicles were nowhere to be seen.
Witnesses said Wang had earlier tried to flee the scene but instead slammed into the already-damaged car again, wrecking the front of his own vehicle in the process. After stumbling out to inspect the mess, he walked to the back of his pickup and vomited violently before climbing back in, Channel 3 News reported.

Moments later, he rolled down the window, stuck a hand down his throat and threw up again, seemingly determined to purge both his stomach and his driving reputation.
Pattaya police soon arrived and attempted to coax the unsteady driver from his vehicle.
“He couldn’t speak clearly and appeared to be trying to contact someone he knew,” one officer said.
Wang was escorted to the station for a breathalyser test and is now facing prosecution. Police are working to track down the owners of the damaged vehicles as part of the investigation.
