Two Chinese tourists had a close call in Pattaya after their big bike crashed into a coffee shop fence, leaving onlookers stunned but, fortunately, unscathed.

Pattaya police were alerted to a motorbike accident on Monday, August 26, at a coffee shop near the Dolphin Roundabout in North Pattaya. Responding swiftly, officers and rescue volunteers arrived at the chaotic scene to find a mangled bike lodged in the fence.

The couple, reportedly riding along Pattaya Second Road, lost control of their powerful machine before it careened into the coffee shop’s fence, where the front wheel became wedged. The female passenger was thrown from the bike, landing hard on the pavement. But in a stroke of luck, a Good Samaritan sprang into action, rushing to her aid. Miraculously, neither of the tourists was injured in the crash.

The coffee shop’s foreign owner, who witnessed the incident, shared that the Chinese couple, whose identities remain under wraps, have taken full responsibility for the damage.

In a surprising twist, he noted down the bike’s licence plate, planning to use it as his lucky charm in the next lottery draw, reported Pattaya News.
