Woman, 27, falls to death from 43rd floor in Bangkok condo

A 27 year old woman tragically fell to her death from the 43rd floor of her condominium in Bangkok’s Huai Khwang area, prompting an ongoing police investigation.

Police Major General Chawarit Chankaen, an investigator with the Sutthisan police station, reported receiving an urgent call about a body discovered on the ground on September 20. He immediately responded to the scene, accompanied by a forensic doctor from Ramathibodi Hospital, police forensic officers, and volunteers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation.

Investigations revealed that the woman resided with her mother on the 28th floor of the building. At the time of the incident, her mother was in Phuket.

Security footage captured the woman taking an elevator to the 43rd floor, an area with a large open space. The video showed her climbing onto a balcony and standing on the edge before tragically slipping and falling to her death, reported Bangkok Post.

She was wearing a short-sleeved t-shirt with black, white, and red stripes and blue jeans. Her body exhibited severe injuries, including a fractured skull and broken limbs. Nearby, her identification card and mobile phone were found.
