Village celebrates as woman wins 12 million baht lottery
A village erupted in celebration as an unnamed local woman became a millionaire after winning the first prize in the latest lottery draw. The lucky winner received a total of 12 million baht (US$360,650), sparking widespread joy and congratulations from the community.
The Government Lottery Office announced the results of the draw for today, revealing that the first prize-winning number was 608662. The draw also included two three-digit front prizes with the numbers 230 and 904, two three-digit end prizes with the numbers 008 and 408, and a two-digit end prize with the number 37.
One Facebook user, known as คราญ ปันนิ่ว, shared a post congratulating the lucky winner, who had secured the first prize with two tickets.

The announcement quickly attracted numerous comments from social media users, all eager to extend their congratulations to the new millionaire, reported KhaoSod.
In related news, a resident of Chiang Mai won the lottery prize of 6 million baht, marking the emergence of another millionaire. He plans to use the money for his father’s medical treatment and his child’s education.
The news emerged today following the announcement of the latest lottery results by the Government Lottery Office for the draw on September 1. The winning number for the first prize was 199606, while the two-digit prize was 94.
A 47 year old Thai man named Goboy, hailing from Ban Paeng 2 in Doi Tao district, Chiang Mai province, works as a contractual employee for the Tha Duea-Mueat Ka Municipality in the same district.
He won the first prize with a single lottery ticket bearing the number 199606, purchased from a vendor named Jae Mam in front of the Government Savings Bank. Following his win, Goboy reported the lottery ticket to the Doi Tao Police Station to officially document it.
