The issue of online slot gambling addiction is a growing concern, with several people reportedly taking their own lives due to overwhelming debt. In some cases, individuals have exhausted funds, including government transfers of 10,000 baht, on online gambling in a single day.
In similar news, a 47 year old woman was discovered dead inside a luxury car parked on a roadside in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, leaving her husband and daughter devastated. She had been missing since the previous day after telling her family she was going to the market.
Officers found a white Toyota Camry with its engine running and doors locked on Rural Road 2053 in Mueang district. Upon gaining entry, they found the woman’s body reclined in the driver’s seat, with no signs of struggle or assault.
Inside the car, police discovered a handbag on the passenger seat, a gas stove, and a bottle of lighter fluid near the gear shift. Investigations later revealed that the vehicle had been rented by the deceased on the afternoon of January 30. Authorities continue to examine the circumstances surrounding her death.
