As other passengers disembarked near a convenience store opposite Sala Meechai School, the man also got off. In a disturbing turn of events, he allegedly pretended to fall and then kissed the student on the cheek, subsequently apologising and smiling at her.

The driver of the songthaew was aware of the incident and expressed his anger, verbally confronting the man. Passengers on board reportedly witnessed the event, recognising the man’s actions as deliberate harassment.
