However, there is a condition that reservations must be made directly with the airlines through designated channels from December 5 to December 7. Suriya expressed his confidence in the collaboration for facilitating public travel to hometowns for a reasonable price.

“The Ministry of Transport, along with all relevant public and private agencies, is confident in facilitating the public’s ability to purchase flight tickets at reasonable prices, enabling them to return to their hometowns and travel conveniently and safely during the new year 2025 festival.”

In addition, the Department of Airports, Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT), and Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Company Limited have been assigned to manage passenger arrangements for the new year festival.

The Department of Airports and AOT has been instructed to prepare ground services and passenger facilities, including luggage handling, and to extend the closing hours of eight airports: Ubon Ratchathani, Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, Trang, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Mae Fah Luang Chiang Rai, and Hat Yai.

Meanwhile, Aeronautical Radio of Thailand is gearing up for operations in all aviation and facility areas.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand is tasked with closely monitoring fare situations to prevent disparities and ensure that prices remain fair for passengers, reported KhaoSod.
