Pickup truck veers off road, crashes into wall and flips, injuring two in Chon Buri
A pickup truck driver in Chon Buri lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a wall and a signpost, causing the truck to overturn and injuring two people inside. The incident took place on Soi Chaiyaphon Withi 13, near a flour and starch manufacturing company in Nong Prue Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri Province. Emergency services promptly responded to the scene to assist the accident victims.
The damaged Chevrolet pickup truck, with Chon Buri license plate number ผษ7391, was found overturned on its side beside the road. The impact destroyed a 10-metre stretch of wall and snapped a warning sign pole. The wreckage also caused a significant amount of engine oil to leak onto the road surface.
An investigation revealed that two people were injured and trapped inside the vehicle. Suriraya, a 24 year old man, and Pim Siri, his 24 year old girlfriend, were quickly rescued by the emergency responders. The injured individuals received preliminary medical treatment before being urgently transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
According to Pim Siri’s statement, her boyfriend was driving the pickup truck at a high speed when they left a friend’s house not far from the accident site. Upon reaching a bend, Suriraya collided with the wall and then the warning sign, ultimately causing their vehicle to roll over and come to rest on its side. Bystanders contacted emergency services to report the accident and request assistance.
