The pickup truck, out of control after the impact, crashed into a home decoration store, causing severe damage to the glass and merchandise inside. The driver of the pickup truck was later identified as 42 year old Zhang Yuline. Upon inspection, Zhang appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, prompting the police to quickly take him into custody for further investigation.

The shop owner recounted that the pickup driver claimed a motorcycle was travelling in the wrong direction, forcing him to swerve and consequently crash into the shop. The credibility of this claim is yet to be verified, as police intend to examine CCTV footage from the area.
