Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered shattered windows, doors, and damaged walls of the house. Nearly ten 9mm bullet casings were found outside the residence, providing evidence for the investigation. Forensic officers are now examining the scene to collect further evidence.

The house’s owner, 42 year old Yuwadee, explained that the attacker was her ex-husband, 50 year old Somchai, whom she divorced two months prior. She recounted how their marriage ended due to Somchai’s intolerable temper.

The couple had been together for six years, with Yuwadee bringing her two children from a previous relationship into the marriage.

After completing the construction of their home with a loan, Yuwadee moved her children in, which reportedly angered Somchai, leading to verbal abuse and frequent arguments.

Despite attempts to maintain the marriage for the sake of their children, Somchai’s temper worsened, resulting in their divorce. Yuwadee now lives with her three children in the house.

Prior to the shooting, Somchai contacted Yuwadee, expressing a desire to take their children out for a meal. He arrived in a pickup truck and asked their youngest son about who was at home. Somchai was told that Yuwadee, her brother and mother, and her children were present but Somchai allegedly didn’t believe this information and threatened to shoot everyone in the house.

The youngest son alerted Yuwadee, prompting everyone in the house to flee as gunfire erupted. Police are urgently searching for Somchai to proceed with legal charges, although he has yet to be apprehended, reported KhaoSod.
