A 14 year old Thai girl, reported missing on September 18, has been reunited with her parents after confessing to running away to live with her boyfriend. The young girl admitted that life without her parents proved to be too challenging.

The couple took to social media to search for their 14 year old daughter, named Noey, after she disappeared on September 18, having left her school in the central province of Nonthaburi. They reviewed security camera footage in the area until they found their daughter with two men near Maduea Temple.

Noey’s mother made several appeals through various news agencies, urging her daughter to return home and calling on the two men in the CCTV footage to bring her back.

Fortunately, the couple received a notification about their daughter from a security guard company in the Srinakarin neighbourhood of Bangkok on September 25. The company revealed that Noey and the two men, later identified as 16 year old Nine and 20 year old Gap, applied for jobs there.

Nine’s family rushed to the company to pick up the three and brought them to Bang Bua Thong Police Station, where Noey’s parents were waiting.

Noey’s mother told Daily News that she was very happy to be reunited with her daughter and did not criticise her for her impulsive decision. She took the girl to a hospital for a health check before returning to the police station for questioning.

The mother shared Noey’s account during questioning with the media. Noey explained that she wanted to be independent, so she ran away from home to stay with her boyfriend, Gap, and his friend Nine. Gap made her do many household chores, which led her to want to return home. Nine also felt the same way.

Gap reportedly did not allow them to return. Noey’s mobile phone was seized by Gap and later sold to provide money for their living expenses. Gap also threatened to harm Noey if she attempted to return home.

Gap gave a different account, claiming he had never forced Noey to do anything. He said they met on social media and talked for a month before Noey came to his home. Noey allegedly refused to return home, expressing her desire to stay with him.

According to Gap, they initially lived at Nine’s home but later moved to a rented room after Nine argued with his parents. Nine wanted to work, so the three of them applied for jobs at the security guard company.

Gap claimed that Noey sold her mobile phone on her own accord because she wanted money. He said he still loved and worried about Noey but understood that her parents would never be impressed with him and would never forgive him.

Gap was charged with taking a minor under the age of 15 away from her parents or guardians, which carries a penalty of imprisonment for three to 15 years and a fine of 6,000 to 30,000 baht under Section 317 of the Criminal Code.

Police also found drugs in Gap’s system, leading to an additional charge of drug use. The type of drug and the penalty were not specified in the report.

ORIGINAL STORY: Missing Thai teen last seen with 2 suspicious men in Nonthaburi

Thai parents are desperately searching for their 14 year old daughter, who disappeared on September 18 after leaving school. CCTV footage captured the girl, identified as Noey, walking along a roadside in the central province of Nonthaburi with two suspicious-looking men.

To aid in the search, the Facebook news page Social Hunter 2022 stepped in to help the distressed parents by circulating a missing person poster featuring Noey. The pictures in the post depict her in her school uniform, providing a clear description to assist in the community’s efforts to locate her. The page stated in the caption…

“The 14 year old schoolgirl, Noey, went missing after school on September 18. Her parents reviewed security camera footage and spotted her on a footpath near Maduea Temple. They were unable to determine where she was heading. They asked Noey’s classmates, but no one had any useful information.”

Noey’s mother told Siam News that Noey called her father before her disappearance. She asked for permission to go to Bang Yai Market after school but her father would not allow it. Noey then promised to be home before 7pm but she has not returned since.

The mother said she checked many security cameras near the school and their home until she spotted Noey near the temple. She later learned from locals in the area that her daughter frequently visited two men at a house in Kamonluck Village in the Bang Bua Thong district of Nonthaburi.

The parents went to the house to speak with the owner, who denied that any young girl had come to her house previously. However, the mother found CCTV footage of her daughter walking out of the village with two men.

According to the mother, locals in the area told her that one of the men was named Gap, who had previously worked as a security guard. The mother urged Gap to return her daughter and asked Noey to come home, promising not to be angry, no matter what issues she encountered.

In a related report, a missing nine month old baby was found safe after being abducted by a woman with mental health issues on September 19. Police managed to return the baby to her parents, but the meeting with the family raised suspicion onofhild labour and abuse among officers.

The family had 30 members, and each member had babies. Each member was found bringing their babies to sell products at multiple events and festivals. Consequently, further investigations will be conducted into the matter.
