Thai influencer arrested with drugs and firearms in Bangkok
Thai social media influencer Phor Ban Khlong Toei, renowned for his presence on TikTok and participation in Fight Club Thailand, was apprehended by police at his residence yesterday. Officers from the Metropolitan Police Bureau’s Division 5 seized a quantity of crystal methamphetamine and firearms during the arrest.
The arrest sent ripples through the online community, as many followers of Phor Ban Khlong Toei expressed their surprise and disappointment at the turn of events. Known for his engaging and entertaining content, the influencer had garnered a significant following. His situation highlights the stark contrast between his online persona and the reality of his actions, reported KhaoSod.
Em, a well-known tattooed boxer, shared a post featuring a photograph and a message.
“It’s over for Phor Ban. The life you chose to live has caught up with you. Although I won’t scold you, you must face the consequences of your actions. You once brought laughter.”
One post read: “The news about Phor Ban Khlong Toei is true. We tried to guide him towards the right path, but he chose to secretly engage in wrongdoing. Hopefully, this will be the final lesson.

In related news, cyber police arrested a popular female influencer with over two million followers for promoting online gambling. The influencer admitted to receiving 2,500 baht per post for sharing gambling links.
Police Major General Athip Phongsiwapai, head of the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau, directed Police Colonel Chitsanupong Waidee, the Superintendent of Division 3, to take the 26 year old woman, identified only as Bee, into custody.
She faces charges of jointly advertising, publicising, or inducing others to engage in unauthorised online gambling for monetary stakes.
