Emergency responders, forensic officers, and volunteers from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation attended the scene.

The location is a 23-storey office building adjacent to a school. The man, approximately 50 years old, was found lying on his back, wearing a red long-sleeved shirt and black jeans.

His right leg had detached and was found along with a brown sneaker in Si Ayutthaya 10 Alley. Items found on his body included a packet of cannabis, a cannabis grinder, a mobile phone, a power bank, and three photographs, all collected as evidence.

Rokit Lamo, a 30 year old security guard, explained that the building is an office with no residents and is closed during weekends and public holidays. At the time of the incident, maintenance workers were repairing the building, entering and exiting as usual.

Security personnel were occupied supervising the workers, unaware of when the man entered the building. CCTV footage later revealed he entered at 4.30pm, took the lift to the 22nd floor, and then climbed the stairs to the rooftop on the 23rd floor.

Initial investigations found no identification documents on the deceased. It is believed that the deceased took advantage of a lapse in security, sneaked in to use the lift, and then jumped from the rooftop, reported KhaoSod.

His body struck a lamp post, causing it to land inside the school’s perimeter. The building is a rental office, and further investigations include reviewing CCTV footage within and around the building to locate relatives and determine the cause of death.
