In a floral frenzy, globetrotters are thronging to a sunflower field in Thailand that’s not just a feast for the eyes but also a rendezvous with interstellar blossoms.

Travellers are making a beeline for the 5-rai sunflower field in Pathum Thani province, nestled within the colossal CPRAM headquarters—a jewel in the crown of the Thai conglomerate CP Group. This dazzling spectacle, open from 8.30am to 6pm until December 17, marks its fourth consecutive year, promising an otherworldly experience.

Beyond the radiant sunflowers, the field flaunts young golden shower trees, courtesy of the Space Golden Shower Project by the National Science and Technology Development Agency. These extraterrestrial saplings, nurtured in the cosmos, have descended to Earth, adding a celestial touch to the landscape.

The golden shower tree, also known as purging cassia or Indian laburnum, stands tall as Thailand’s national tree and flower. Visitors not only revel in the sunflower spectacle but also witness the blooming pride of Thailand’s flora, reported The Nation.

CPRAM has grand plans to metamorphose its sunflower field into a bustling tourist haven, contributing to the grassroots economy of Pathum Thani. Visitors not only immerse themselves in the radiant blooms but also have the chance to capture picture-perfect moments, indulge in locally crafted treasures, and embrace the essence of local living.
