Ducati and Helmet Heroes unite to protect Thai kids

In a groundbreaking collaboration, Helmet Heroes Thailand and Ducati Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd., have joined forces to tackle one of Thailand’s most pressing safety issues: child road safety.
With the help of the Jomtien-Pattaya International Rotary Club and the Bangkok Community Help Foundation, the initiative aims to distribute TISI-approved motorcycle helmets to children across Thailand, ensuring they are protected on the roads.
This powerful alliance highlights the urgent need for road safety awareness in Thailand, where motorcycle accidents are a leading cause of injury and death among children. By providing life-saving helmets and educating young riders on the importance of wearing them, the campaign seeks to make a meaningful impact on child safety.
Max Kimberley-Thompson, President-Elect of the Jomtien-Pattaya International Rotary Club, expressed his excitement about the initiative.
“The Rotary Club of Jomtien-Pattaya is proud to support Helmet Heroes Thailand in its mission to protect young lives here in Thailand.”
The collaboration also reflects Ducati’s commitment to community welfare. Adrien Simon, CFO of Ducati Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd., stated the company is committed to making a meaningful difference in the community we call home.
“This effort reinforces our dedication to promoting safe riding practices and road safety because we believe that helmets are more than just a legal requirement, they’re a lifesaving necessity.”
The initiative is supported by the Bangkok Community Help Foundation, whose Co-Founder, Greg Lange, added that he is thrilled to support the Helmet Heroes’ mission.
“We are delighted to help protecting children on Thai roads by providing essential safety helmets and educating them on the importance of wearing one.”
His fellow Co-Founder, Friso Poldervaart, said the initiative will be a valuable addition to efforts in helping thousands of children in lower-income communities across Bangkok.

The campaign will culminate in a helmet distribution and educational event at a local school, bringing Helmet Heroes Thailand closer to its mission of distributing 1,000,000 helmets.
Since its founding in December 2023 by social media influencer Rick “Savvy Rick” Brown, the organisation has provided 882 helmets to children across Thailand.
Brown’s passion for child safety was inspired by his traumatic cycling accident as a teenager, driving his commitment to creating safer road environments for children, reported The Pattaya News.
Helmet Heroes Thailand encourages businesses, organisations, and individuals to support the initiative by donating, sponsoring, or volunteering.
“Join us in making a life-saving difference! Your support can help provide helmets to children in need across Thailand.”
