Unlock the secrets of Thailand’s museums after dark: Night at Museum 2023 unveiled

In a bid to ignite cultural fervour, the Thai government launched the eagerly awaited Night at Museum 2023 initiative.

Running from December 15 to 24, the festival encourages the public to explore the nation’s 48 museums under the enchanting cloak of night.

Karom Polpornklang, a deputy government spokesman, stated that the festival aims to boost cultural soft power, inviting everyone to make a night with museum experiences.

The initiative aims to transform 25 museums in Bangkok and 23 others across the provinces into captivating nighttime attractions. These cultural havens will be showcased as not just historical archives but as pulsating hubs of knowledge and creativity. Cultural-based products will also be available for purchase, ensuring visitors take a piece of the experience home.

A collaborative effort between the National Discovery Museum Institute and the Museum Thailand network, the festival aspires to deepen public understanding of history, society, way of life, Thai-ness, natural resources, nature, and science.
