Thai woman gropes 74 year old taxi rider before stealing 17,000 baht
Elderly driver discovers empty wallet hours after bizarre encounter

A Thai woman allegedly groped a 74 year old motorcycle taxi rider during a journey in the central province of Ang Thong before stealing 17,000 baht in cash from him.
The motorcycle taxi rider, Chiab, lodged a complaint at Mueang Ang Thong Police Station yesterday, October 2, after discovering the theft. He explained that the stolen money included 5,000 baht recently given to him by his son, as well as lottery winnings and fares collected from passengers.
Chiab described the suspect as a woman weighing around 100 kilogrammes. She had short red hair, heavy make-up, and was wearing a red T-shirt. He added that she spoke with an accent typical of Thailand’s southern provinces.
According to Chiab, the woman hired him to take her to Ang Thong Hospital for a fare of 30 baht. During the ride, she allegedly engaged him in obscene conversation, offering sex for 1,000 baht.
In addition to the lewd remarks, the woman reportedly groped Chiab, touching his private parts and hugging him tightly throughout the journey. The victim said he asked her to stop and warned her not to behave inappropriately in public.

Chiab stated that the woman paid her fare without arousing suspicion, after which he returned to his motorcycle taxi stand at a fresh market and shared the unusual incident with fellow riders.
He only realised he was robbed later, when he checked his wallet and found it empty. He urged police to make a swift arrest and expressed hope of recovering the money, adding that the loss had caused him significant stress.
At present, police have not released any updates on the suspect’s identity or the progress of the investigation.

In a similar case reported in Bangkok in May, a Thai woman was wanted for swindling several motorcycle taxi riders near Victory Monument. One victim recounted how she posed as a salon owner and borrowed money before disappearing.
