Thai man fatally stabs wife after discovering she was a prostitute
24-year relationship shattered by shocking phone discovery

A Thai man fatally stabbed his wife on a road in the central province of Chai Nat, after discovering that she was offering sex services.
Rescuers from the Ruam Katanyu Foundation rushed to assist the 39 year old Thai woman, Phatcharin, after receiving a report of the stabbing at around 8.30am today, May 7. She was found lying on the road outside the Wang Sakhon Temple Market in the Sapphaya district of Chai Nat.
Phatcharin had sustained five stab wounds, and her body was covered in blood. The rescue team administered first aid before transporting her to Sapphaya Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
The attacker was none other than Phatcharin’s husband, Kritsana, who waited at the scene and surrendered to officers from Sapphaya Police Station.
Kritsana confessed to killing his wife out of anger and jealousy. On the morning of the incident, he used his wife’s mobile phone and discovered that she was a member of a sex work group on the LINE application.

Kritsana entered the group and found that numerous men and women were arranging appointments for sexual services, including his wife. He was overcome with rage. He had never suspected her of infidelity during their 24-year relationship.
Without confronting her, he launched a violent attack. As his wife attempted to flee, she stumbled and fell. Kritsana admitted to kicking her before stabbing her with a five-inch knife.

A witness intervened and restrained Kritsana. He later admitted full responsibility for his actions and expressed willingness to face legal consequences.
In a separate but similar case in 2023, another Thai man posted on social media seeking advice after his wife confessed to working as a sex worker, four years into their marriage. She claimed a massage parlour owner had coerced her into selling sex.

Despite the betrayal, the man forgave her for the sake of their family and children. However, he noted a significant change in her behaviour. She became distant, failed to reply to messages, and stayed away from home more frequently.
Netizens, finding the matter highly sensitive, refrained from offering direct opinions. Instead, they advised the man to communicate openly with his wife and work together to find a solution.
