Thai man arrested for North Thailand festival double murder

A 21 year old suspect has been apprehended in Chon Buri, linked to a violent altercation that resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left two others injured at a festival in the northern province of Uttaradit.

The incident occurred during the Amazing Hidden Lin Lablae annual festival, which took place in June this year. On that day, a brawl erupted, leading to the tragic deaths and injuries of local youths. Police investigations revealed that the individuals involved in the brawl were a group of non-local teens employed at a nearby durian factory.

Region Two Police arrested Kittiphan Saipanya, a Thai man from Sisaket province, in Chon Buri yesterday, November 6. He faces charges of premeditated murder, attempted murder, and carrying a weapon in public. A Police spokesperson stated he believes Kittiphan is responsible for the deaths of the two local youths. Despite the charges, the suspect has denied any involvement in the crime, reported Pattaya News.

“The suspect has been taken into custody and will be transferred to a police station in Uttaradit for further legal proceedings.”

In related news, police apprehended a key suspect in the brutal murder of two cattle traders, a father and son, whose bodies were found in the back of a pickup truck in Kalasin province.

The investigation continues as police pursue other members of the alleged gang involved in the crime. The bodies were discovered on September 19 in the rear of a pickup truck abandoned in a field near Ban Non Sawan, Village 8, Nong I Thao, Yang Talat.

In other news, a Thai woman was brutally murdered in her own home, located beneath her elevated wooden house in Phai Sali district, Nakhon Sawan province.

Before her tragic death, she managed to call her sister and identify her alleged murderer. The woman’s puppies, unaware of their owner’s demise, gathered around her lifeless body. The woman was found lying on her side, dressed in a red shirt and jeans.
