Thailand boat shows merge for a splash-tacular Phuket event
The Thailand International Boat Show and Thailand Boat Festival are set to merge, creating the largest and most extravagant boat show Phuket has ever seen. This landmark event will take place at Phuket Yacht Haven from January 9 to 12 next year, promising a spectacular display of luxury yachts and lifestyle brands.
The organisers of both prestigious events have announced a strategic alliance aimed at leveraging their combined expertise to elevate the show to unprecedented heights. The event will retain the name Thailand International Boat Show, reflecting its expansive vision and ambition.
David Hayes, CEO of JAND Events, remarked that the organiser knows the industry only wants one show, and this strategic alliance with M Vision will deliver just that.
“Together, we aim to present the best possible boat and lifestyle show in 2025. M Vision’s experience in large-scale Thai consumer events complements our expertise in boat and luxury events. While we aim to increase international visitors, we will also build on our Thai visitor success and supercharge our efforts for 2025.”
The partnership brings together businesses and partners from the Thailand Boat Festival, enhancing a stellar line-up of global boat and luxury brands.
Opas Cherdpunt, CEO of M Vision Public Company Limited, added that aligning the company’s efforts with the Thailand International Boat Show is a strategic move for the industry.
“Hosting it at Phuket Yacht Haven offers ample space for in-water displays and land-based lifestyle exhibits. With direct access to Phang Nga Bay, exhibitors can take potential buyers on sea trials during the show.”
The event will also feature the second annual Thailand Yachting Conference on 8 January 2025, followed by a prestigious yachting awards gala dinner that evening, reported Travel Daily News.
In related news, in a dazzling display set to elevate Phuket‘s status on the global luxury stage, the Thailand International Boat Show A Luxury Lifestyle Event showcased a spectacular line-up of yachts and private jets in January.
