A 57 year old man fell victim to a theft after his goodwill gesture was exploited by a woman who absconded with his motorcycle. The incident unfolded yesterday, December 26, in the area of Moo 5, Ban Phu Thai, Khao Mai Kaew subdistrict, Bang Lamung district, Chon Buri province. Thaworn, a construction worker, had reported the theft to Surasing Sookmak, an officer at Huai Yai Police Station.

Thaworn recounted the event, which began early in the day when he noticed a woman walking along the roadside. She was wearing a white shirt and shorts, with a fair complexion and short hair, estimated to be between 30 and 40 years old.

Intrigued by her apparent need, Thaworn approached her to inquire about her destination, intending to offer a ride.

During their journey, Thaworn stopped at a local grocery store to make a purchase. However, upon discovering that the store lacked the items he needed, he had to cross the street to another shop.

At that moment, the woman seized the opportunity, calling out to borrow the motorcycle and promptly speeding away, leaving Thaworn bewildered by the roadside.

Thaworn initially believed the woman would return shortly with his motorcycle, but as hours passed with no sign of her, he realised his kindness had turned him into a victim.

Faced with this realisation, he decided to report the theft to the police, detailing that his stolen vehicle was a blue Honda Wave 110i with the license plate 2 กร 4920 Rayong. Upon receiving the report, the investigating officers coordinated with a team to search the area for clues, reported KhaoSod.
