Peeping Tom busted: Ex-brother-in-law’s 3-year peep show horror

In a perverted tale of betrayal and invasion of privacy, an ex-brother-in-law has been arrested for being a Peeping Tom after waging a sinister three-year campaign of secret filming, threats, and harassment against his own sister-in-law.
The sordid saga unfolded with the arrest of 30 year old Kaweedech (surname withheld) yesterday, February 20, after his relentless torment of his former sister in law, 24 year old Nam, finally prompted her to break her silence and report the horror.
Acting on a criminal court warrant from February 11, Police Major General Athip Phongsiwapai dispatched Police Colonel Chitsanuphong Waiwi and his team from the Technology Crime Suppression Division 3 to nab the suspect outside Ban Han Police Station in Nakhon Ratchasima’s Sikhio district.
The nightmare began when Kaweedech, while still married to Bee, clandestinely filmed her sister Nam as she showered. Armed with these illicit clips, he crafted a fake social media persona to share the explicit images, pulling Nam into a distressing game of harassment.
Despite his marriage to Bee ending two years ago, Kaweedech’s disturbing behaviour continued unabated. The perpetrator sent vile, threatening messages to Nam, coercing her to provide further intimate photographs which he then maliciously spread online, reported KhaoSod.
The twisted harassment stretched over three harrowing years, with Nam initially in the dark about who orchestrated the ordeal. Thinking the invasive videos might have been captured during a holiday, she turned to Division 3 of the Technology Crime Suppression Division, setting an investigation in motion.
This painstaking inquiry finally unmasked Kaweedech as the villain, and he was swiftly detained. During interrogation, he admitted to his despicable deeds and was promptly handed over to authorities for prosecution.
In similar news late last year, a woman in Khon Kaen reported an unsettling incident at a local restaurant where she was secretly filmed while using the restroom. Despite the offender’s confession, the evidence was deleted, leaving local police unable to take legal action.
