A lucky individual has ushered in the new year with a significant windfall, winning 30 million baht from the government lottery.

The Government Lottery Office announced the results of the draw yesterday afternoon, January 2, revealing the winning numbers for the first prize as 730209. It was a moment of astonishment and joy for one fortunate winner who secured five tickets with the first prize number.

The lottery draw yesterday included other prize numbers as well. The three-digit front prize numbers were 446 and 065, each rewarding 4,000 baht. The three-digit end prize numbers were 376 and 297, also offering 4,000 baht for each prize. Finally, the two-digit end prize number was 51, with a reward of 2,000 baht.

Following the announcement, Lottery Plus wasted no time in showcasing the actual winning lottery tickets during a live broadcast. There was only one winner for the first prize, who held five tickets, amounting to a total of 30 million baht. Phanthawat Nakvisut, aka Not, reached out to congratulate the winners.

The new year’s fortune smiled upon a woman from Surat Thani, known as Maew. She became the sole winner of the first prize, holding five tickets and securing a 30 million baht reward. Upon receiving the call, it was Maew’s daughter who answered, exclaiming with delight on learning of the win. She shared that she had only recently taught her mother how to purchase lottery tickets through Lottery Plus, leading to their unexpected but joyous victory.
