A factory supervisor shot and killed a co-worker outside their workplace, firing eight shots from a 9mm gun. The incident occurred around 6pm yesterday, October 3. Police and rescue workers were called to the scene in Don Hua Lo, Chon Buri province.

Police officers, led by Kitthivet Ngasuwan, arrived to find 38 year old Natthawut lying in a pool of blood. He was wearing his factory uniform and had been shot eight times. Nearby, Natthawut’s blue and white Honda Scoopy-i motorcycle lay on its side, with several 9mm bullet casings scattered around.

According to a security guard at the company, identified as Ek, Natthawut was riding his motorcycle out of the factory when the suspect, Itthirit, another employee and the head of the spare parts department, approached. Itthirit parked his black motorcycle about 50 metres away from the factory, near a utility pole, and then walked over to Natthawut, opening fire multiple times before fleeing on his motorcycle.

Ek mentioned that Natthawut and Itthirit had ongoing issues at work and frequently argued when they saw each other. Police are now working to apprehend Itthirit to proceed with legal action.

Police are investigating the motive behind the shooting, focusing on the reported animosity between the two men. The local police department is urging anyone with information about Itthirit’s whereabouts to come forward.

In addition to the eyewitness account, police are reviewing CCTV footage from around the factory to get a clearer picture of the events leading up to the shooting. They are also interviewing other employees to understand the nature of the conflict between Natthawut and Itthirit, reported KhaoSod.

Natthawut’s family has been notified of his death, and they are cooperating with the police investigation. The family is also calling for justice to be swiftly served.

“We are devastated by this loss. Natthawut was a kind person and didn’t deserve to die like this. We hope the police can find Itthirit soon.”
