National Housing Authority (NHA) is inviting individuals who aspire to own a house but are not yet ready to purchase one, to visit their Sukhaphat Celebrating Bangkok project.

Interested parties can immediately sign a rental contract with rent starting at just 1,950 baht per month. Additionally, the company offers free vocational training. Those adept at trading can immediately reserve a rental stall at Sukhaphat Market Celebrating Bangkok, situated directly opposite the project.

Thaweepong Wichaidit, the NHA governor, explained that the Sukhaphat house project was designed for citizens, especially those with low to middle income, impacted by both social and economic factors due to the Covid-19 outbreak. This includes the elderly and vulnerable groups.

The project provides rent houses with jobs and has initiated two pilot projects: Sukhaphat Rom Klao with 270 units and Sukhaphat Celebrating Bangkok with 302 units. The public, who is interested but not yet ready to purchase a house, can visit Sukhaphat Celebrating Bangkok. If they like any house, they can sign a rental contract and move in immediately.

Compared to the size, living area, and location, Sukhaphat Celebrating Bangkok offers cheaper rental houses than elsewhere. The rental prices start from 1,950 to 3,750 baht per month (including community management fees) and offer living areas ranging from 30 to 50 square metres.

Houses for single individuals, 30 square metres, rental of fee 2,450 baht per month.

Houses for working groups of two people, 40 square metres, rental of fee 3,100 baht per month.

Houses for families of three or more people, 50 square metres, rental of fee 3,750 baht per month.

What sets Sukhaphat Celebrating Bangkok apart from other rental houses is that besides providing houses that meet the residents’ needs, the heart of Sukhaphat is job creation for residents. Sukhaphat Celebrating Bangkok has allocated an area for vocational activities as Sukhaphat Market Celebrating Bangkok.

By just crossing the street, there are jobs available (Walk to Work). In addition to helping renters have a job and income to support their families, working near home also has mental health benefits, avoiding traffic congestion or exposure to vehicle exhaust fumes, and more time for family.

Job training

For those not skilled in the trade profession but interested in other jobs, there is also training and skills development for one renter per house, provided by Sukhaphat Public Company Limited. The company, a subsidiary of the NHA, has a primary mission to develop the residential real estate business along with economic and community development and create comprehensive income, reported KhaoSod.

Those interested in the Sukhaphat Celebrating Bangkok project can visit the project, choose a room, and sign a contract immediately at the project location (walk-in). The only qualifications are that they are Thai nationals, have reached the age of majority, earn less than 30,000 baht per month per household, or are those affected by the Covid outbreak, without work, and ready to work on all projects.

Just prepare documents including the original ID card, copy of the house registration, income proof documents, and name-change documents (if any), to sign the lease and move in immediately.
