According to Supakrit (surname withheld), a 47 year old resident who witnessed the incident, he and other bystanders were alerted by a loud noise. Upon locating the source, they found the girl lying helplessly after her fall. After ensuring her safety, they promptly alerted rescue services, reported KhaoSod.

The injured girl later recounted that her mother had gone to work, leaving her alone in their apartment. The door was not locked, so she ventured out onto the balcony and accidentally fell.
