Bangkok rescuer confesses to sexually assaulting actress
A rescuer confessed to sexually assaulting and filming Thai actress Christine Gulasatree Michalsky while she was unwell at a condominium in Khlong Tan, Wattana, Bangkok on Tuesday, March 31.
Christine went to Khlong Tan Police Station yesterday, April 1, to give her statement. She spent more than four hours being questioned before speaking to reporters.
The actress said she has been diagnosed with depression and panic symptoms, and is taking medication daily. On the day of the incident, in addition to her usual medication, she took an antihistamine and overdosed.
Christine said she asked a friend to call for emergency assistance, and the suspect, later identified as 34 year old Nikorn, arrived at the condominium alone.

According to Christine, Nikorn assaulted her when a security guard was away, and she believed he took photographs of her while she was naked. She was scared and unable to protect herself, given her condition. She insisted she did not lose consciousness during the assault, and that the rescuer was fully aware of his intentions.
Nikorn was summoned for questioning on April 1 and initially denied the allegations. He told police he only performed CPR and took a photograph of the medication Christine had taken to share with medical personnel.
Police reviewed CCTV footage from the condominium entrance and hallway and examined the clothing Christine wore that day. With the evidence, the court later issued an arrest warrant for Nikorn, and he was detained on the night of April 1.

During further questioning, police said Nikorn confessed to sexually assaulting and taking pictures of Christine. He told investigators he deleted the images after Christine raised the issue on social media, and claimed he did not share the explicit photographs with anyone else.
Nikorn was charged under Section 278 of the Criminal Law for sexually assaulting a person aged over 15 through threats or violence, or by taking advantage of incapacity. The offence carries a penalty of up to 10 years’ imprisonment, a fine of up to 200,000 baht, or both.
Nikorn remained in custody at the police station for further questioning. He is summoned to appear at the Bangkok South Criminal Court on April 3.
