Don’t sell yourself short Thaiger, keep producing news, don’t spam the news flow with deals for Visa, insurance etc. And I’m not talking about the pop up banner ads (that I understand you need)
“being a lucrative market for businesses and foreign investment”
No it is not. Thailand is becoming a pariah in the far East for investors.
Investors should by now looking for a good time to unload their Thai investments without losing too much money.
Anyone know of an investment of a foreign company making money in Thailand? Please reveal the name and prove me wrong?
There are foreigners making money in Thailand. I personally know of a guy that’s found a niche in the medical supply field and is making a lot of money.
But it’s much tougher to make money in Thailand than in a pure capitalistic situation like the USA. The law requires a certain percentage of Thai ownership and there is corruption. The language situation makes it tougher and navigating the taxation and compliance areas is no picnic. So it’s not easy to make money but some are.
