Blackpink’s Lisa tests positive for Covid-19

A Thai-born Lisa Manoban of the K-pop girl group “Blackpink” has been diagnosed with Covid-19, according to reports.

A South Korean news outlet Daum said Lisa was diagnosed with the coronavirus today, and her management YG Entertainment was awaiting the results of RT-CPR tests performed on three other members of the group.

BLACKPINK YG Thailand, a Facebook page founded by Thai fans of the band, wished her a speedy recovery and expressed optimism for the safety of the other Blackpink members.

“We first disclosed this knowledge with representatives and personnel in a timely and correct manner, and we adopted significant preventative steps that went above the guidelines of health authorities.

We will continue to provide full assistance, with our artists’ and related staff members’ health being our first priority. If anything changes in the future, we’ll let you know as soon as possible”.
