Scheduled power cut in Layan Soi 1, Phuket for essential maintenance work
An announced power cut is set to disrupt numerous residences, condominiums, and villa estates along Layan Soi 1, Moo 6, Cherng Talay, Phuket. The Provincial Electricity Authority’s Thalang branch (PEA Thalang) has planned this interruption for tomorrow,
The blackout, scheduled from 9am to 4.30pm, is required to facilitate maintenance work on the high-voltage electrical system in the said area. The undertaking aims to enhance the reliability and safety of the power supply, ensuring a steady flow of electricity in the future.
Several key locations have been earmarked to be affected by this outage. These include Layan Soi 1, Ocean Breeze Estate, The Villas Overlooking Layan Resort project, Lemongrass Condominiums, and the Layan Escape project.
However, the scope of the interruption is not limited to these areas. The map provided by the PEA also highlights Tamarind Hills, Layan Sea View Villas, Areeya Villa Layan, Phuket, and Aileen Villas Layan as regions that will experience the power cut.
In light of this, the PEA Thalang branch has called upon residents and businesses in these areas to prepare adequately for the power cut. Urging individuals to disconnect sensitive electronic gadgets and secure household appliances, they hope to minimise any potential damage or disruption.
With an understanding of the inconvenience this may cause, the PEA Thalang branch extended its apologies to the affected communities. They have assured residents that the measures are necessary to enhance the quality and consistency of electricity supply in the region.
