A unique pink-coloured gecko was spotted under a sofa at a house in Tha Chumphon, Photharam District, Ratchaburi. The discovery has caused quite a stir among the local community and lottery enthusiasts.

The house owner, 53 year old Suchitra, tried to capture the reptile but failed due to its lightning speed. She believes the gecko brings good luck and might be a sign for the upcoming lottery draw.

The peculiar pink gecko was found at Suchitra’s house, located at 68/20 Moo 6, Tha Chumphon, Photharam District, Ratchaburi.

Typically, geckos seen in local households are cream or brown. This one, however, had a distinctive pink hue covering its entire body, from its four legs to the tail. The unusual colouration left Suchitra astounded as she had never seen such a creature before.

Suchitra recalled her encounter with the pink gecko, stating that she spotted it while sweeping the house yesterday morning.

At first glance, she dismissed it as an ordinary creature. It was only when she saw the gecko again in the evening, running out to catch insects, that she noticed its pink colour. Suchitra then captured a video of the unusual gecko, which she had never encountered in her life, despite having seen a two-tailed gecko at her home before.

The two-tailed gecko at Suchitra’s house was a darker shade, akin to the usual geckos. Interestingly, the house number, 272, matched the lottery number when she associated seven with the gecko and the two tails. This led her to believe that the upcoming lottery draw on November 1 might hold something special.

Suchitra shared her experience on Facebook, asking if anyone else had seen a pink gecko. The post garnered various responses, with some suggesting that the gecko might have been dyed. However, Suchitra dismissed this idea, highlighting the gecko’s extreme speed, which made it impossible to catch.

The news of the unusual pink gecko spread among Suchitra’s neighbours, causing quite a stir. Some believed that the unique creature might bring good luck and auspiciousness. Consequently, they asked for Suchitra’s house number, intending to try their luck in the upcoming lottery draw on November 1 reported KhaoSod.
