A mystery unfolded in the small town of Bo Rai, Trat when a local found nearly 30 bone fragments while diving in a canal.

The 26 year old man, known only as Pin, was looking for fish in the canal, which is approximately 30 metres wide and 1 to 2 metres deep. Following the discovery, rescue workers and police were called to investigate the puzzling find.

The area was thoroughly searched by rescue divers, who found both large and small bone fragments, collecting them as evidence. Meanwhile, at the scene, Deputy Inspector Thanaphon Taemsara of Bo Rai Police Station remained uncertain whether the bones belonged to a human or an animal, resulting in the collected fragments being sent to Bo Rai Hospital for examination. However, there were no reports of missing persons in the jurisdiction of Bo Rai Police Station.

In an interview, Pin revealed that he and a friend were diving for fish on Wednesday, November 22 when they stumbled upon a pile of bones underwater. Startled, they quickly surfaced and refrained from diving further. The incident was only reported to the rescue workers the following day. Pin was unsure whether the bones were human or animal, reported KhaoSod.
