October 27: Heavy rain forecast for 16 provinces in Thailand on October 27

South under threat of rain, while cooler mornings are expected up north

The Meteorological Department is predicting heavy rain today, October 27, in 16 provinces, particularly in the south, where 60% of the area is expected to be affected. Bangkok and its vicinity are also warned to exercise caution due to adverse weather conditions. Meanwhile, temperatures in upper Thailand are expected to rise slightly.

Heavy rain is primarily expected in the central and southern regions of Thailand. The monsoon trough across the central south and a moderate northeast monsoon covering the upper Gulf of Thailand, upper south, and upper Andaman Sea are the culprits.
